An intentional living app that asks what a good life looks like.

You decide what matters: sleep, time with your family, work you care about, money that isn't a worry. Log it in seconds, and each quarter see whether your life is moving the way you meant it to. No streaks, no score.

Living on purpose, without the pressure

Three ideas behind Good Work, each learned from years of tracking a real life.

01 · Your own picture

Your own picture of a good life

There is no preset wellness score. You choose your metrics and group them into your dimensions, such as health, family, work, money and learning, so the dashboard measures the life you want rather than ours.

02 · Trends over streaks

Life is not a straight line

A new baby or a busy season changes what a normal week looks like, and that doesn't erase what came before. Quarterly and yearly Trends reports, on Premium, show what improved, what held and what slipped.

03 · No guilt

Room for real seasons

Pause a metric that doesn't fit this season, adjust a target to what's realistic, or skip a day. Log what you can; your history stays intact. All of it is free.

The daily Log: meditation skipped today, deep work open on a target lowered from 3h to 2h, and one paused metric folded away at the bottom

Where it comes from

One question, asked since 2017

I'm Henrique, and I made Good Work to answer a question I keep asking myself. It took me a few tools to get here.

  1. 2017

I started asking what a good life looks like, and how I would know if I'm living it. Not a bucket list, but the everyday things: sleep, exercise, reading, family, work, money.

  2. Bullet journals

The natural next step was to track it. I wrote it down by hand every day, which was comforting at first and became a burden.

  3. Google Sheets

Then a spreadsheet with a column for every metric. Some weeks I logged everything, other weeks I forgot, but over months patterns showed up that no single day could show. The sheets grew heavy to keep up.

  4. Good Work

Good Work is the tool that spreadsheet became: a few minutes a day to log, an hour a quarter to look at the trends and adjust.

Questions about intentional living

What is an intentional living app?

A place to decide what a good life looks like to you and check, over time, whether you are living it. In Good Work that means a few metrics of your own, grouped into your dimensions, and trends that show how each one is moving.

How is it different from a habit tracker?

A habit tracker counts days in a row. Good Work tracks habits too, but next to numbers such as hours slept or money saved, across several areas of life, and it shows how often you hit each target rather than a streak.

What should I track to live more intentionally?

Start with what a good week looks like to you, and pick two or three metrics that would show it: nights with enough sleep, dinners with your family, pages read. Give each a target you would hit in an ordinary week, and add more later if you want.

What if life gets in the way?

It will. Skip a day, pause a metric or lower its target, and pick it up again when the season changes. Nothing resets, and the months before stay as they were.

Who made Good Work?

Henrique Pacheco, who has tracked his own life since 2017, first in bullet journals, then in Google Sheets. He builds Good Work and uses it himself.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan includes unlimited metrics, the daily Log, daily, weekly and monthly progress, skipping, pausing and adjusting targets, and tasks. Premium adds quarterly and yearly Trends reports, Withings sync and Premium for up to 5 family members, and starts with a 30-day free trial.
